Meet the Pastors

Michael and Suzanne Katschke are co-pastors of CrossWinds Church. Click next to their names to read more about them.

Michael:

I help lead our church, preach, and look for people like you who God has equipped to help with our mission.. I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, but I have lived in Alabama for twenty years (with a four-year stint in the Air Force in between). I am married to Suzanne, and I am the proud father of our daughter, Savannah. I love what I do. Being a pastor gives me automatic permission to talk about Jesus. I didn’t become a Christian until the age of thirty. I have previously served as interim pastor of Parker’s Chapel United Methodist Church in East Limestone and as an associate pastor at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Madison.

Suzanne:

I pray you will want to be a part of our mission at CrossWinds. I serve Jesus at CrossWinds by teaching, preaching, and leading our church. I am passionate about telling others about the love of Christ! I was an Air Force brat and lived in a variety of places growing up. I did not become a Christian until I was twenty-eight years old, so I know what it is like to not be a life-long Christian. I am a former school teacher; I taught eighth grade Language Arts for ten years in the Madison City School system. We have felt called to start a new church for years, and we are blessed beyond measure to serve Jesus with the people of CrossWinds in the Monrovia/Harvest area. I am married to my wonderful husband, Michael, and we adore our daughter, Savannah. I previously served at Good Shepherd Church United Methodist Church as an associate pastor.
